Visit to Wind Farm
(29 Nov 2010)
Thirteen Action Group Members, including most of the committee, braved the cold frosty weather to visit the Milton Keynes wind farm near Olney on Sunday. The turbines were big and we were able to get to around 500 metres away. The visit reinforced the fact that Bythorn Village in particular will be dominated by these structures and they will be highly visible from Molesworth, Keyston and other surrounding villages.
November Update
(22 Nov 2010)
The meeting at Keyston Village Hall was well attended with many villagers present. Several commented on how useful and informative the meeting was.

Members of the Action Group Committee met with the Planning Department Of Huntingdon District Council to learn about the process and how the planners would deal with the proposed application when it was submitted.

The Committee hopes to visit Milton Keynes Wind Farm near Olney on Sunday 28 November (weather permitting). It is the closest wind farm with turbines at the height proposed by npower for the Molesworth site. If you would like to join us please email us by Wednesday 24 November.

We will be holding a fundraising coffee morning at Bythorn Village Hall on Wednesday 15 December at 10.00am to 12.00 noon. We hope to see many of our supporters there and will be serving home made cakes and biscuits.

The planning application for Woolley Hill was submitted earlier this month and can be found on the HDC website application number 1001741FUL. It is a taster of things to come!!
