Some Updates
(17 Dec 2010)
A big thank you to Lorna and her team for organising the coffee morning on Wednesday. Over £270 was raised a brilliant result and some delicious cakes!!

Unfortunately the Cotton Farm Appeal by npower was granted this week. Bev Gray and his team put up a great fight. It would appear the Inspector had a very subjective view and the opinions of the local community were not considered relevent.

Some of the Action Group Committee attended the Titchmarsh Parish Council Meeting last night to listen to one of the local residents object to the npower proposal of a wind farm at Bythorn and Molesworth. There were around 20 interested parties to listen to his presentation and to the Parish Council debate various proposals. There was a vote by Titchmarsh Parish Council to oppose the current proposal by npower, (5 voting for the proposal opposing the wind farm, 2 voting against the proposal put forward by the Parish Council and 2 abstentions) resulting with the council opposing the proposed wind farm development.

Thank you to everyone for all their suppport in this campaign so far. Have a happy Christmas and come back refreshed in the New Year when we expect the planning application to be submitted.
