UPDATE 12th November 2012 - Number FIFTEEN POST PLANNING APPLICATION

Hello Everyone,

MOLESWORTH WIND FARM PLANNING APPLICATION REF 1200967FUL

1. URGENT Please can you sign up for the new web site Together Against Wind set up by Chris Heaton Harris MP. The sole purpose of this site is to help co-ordinate grassroot campaigns against wind turbines with the campaign in the Houses of Parliament.

Chris is currently running TWO campaigns - the first in response to DEMAND a ""FAIR DEAL"" for Wind Farm Victims as a result of A Consultation by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) - Seeking Views About Paying Communities to Host Wind Farms.

COMMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 15 NOVEMBER.

You can do this by completing a series of tick boxes on Chris's website using the following link

http://www.togetheragainstwind.com/fair-deal-for-wind-farm-victims/

The second campaign is in support of Energy Minister John Hayes who recently stated ""We Cannot Pepper Turbines Across The Country - Enough is Enough"". Please fill in the simple form on the web site and send a letter of support for John Hayes to David Cameron. We have to be pro-active to make our voices heard.

2. Thank you to everyone who attended our AGM and had a chance to view the professionally produced photomontages which show the impact of the proposed wind turbines on our landscape. The impact on Bythorn, Molesworth, Keyston, Brington and the surrounding countryside is immense and shocking in some cases. If you were unable to come to the meeting and would like to view the photographs please contact me and we will try to arrange a further viewing for those who would like to see how our landscape will be effected.

3. TO ENABLE US TO PLAN FOR THE FUTURE WE ARE ASKING PEOPLE TO MAKE A PLEDGE WHICH WOULD ONLY BE TAKEN UP IF THE PLANNING APPLICATION GOES TO THE APPEAL PROCESS. To find out more or make a pledge please come to our AGM tomorrow night or contact me or any member of the committee. Or if you would prefer to make a donation to our campaign, we have set up a bank account, please make your cheque payable to ""Stop Molesworth AG"", and send it Stop Molesworth AG, Scotts Farmhouse, Bythorn, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE28 0QP, also include your address in the envelope as we would like to issue receipts for all money donated. A big thank you to those who have already pledged and donated!! Details of how to donate and how surplus funds will be dealt with can be found under the Supporters tab on the Action Group Web Site.

If you have any queries suggestions, comments, require further information or can help in any way please let me know.

If you have received this email and do not wish to continue to be on the mailing list please contact us and we will ensure your name and details are removed.

Thank you for your continued support,

Vicky Wood

UPDATE 28th October 2012 Ė Number Thirteen POST PLANNING APPLICATION

Hello Everyone,

MOLESWORTH WIND FARM PLANNING APPLICATION REF 1200967FUL

1. THE STOP MOLESWORTH WIND FARM ACTION GROUP AGM WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY 8TH NOVEMBER 2012 AT 7.30PM IN BYTHORN VILLAGE HALL. As always there will be refreshments, which again have been personally donated by members of the committee, so donations to Wind Farm Funds will be gratefully received.

***Photographs and montages taken by our experts of how the turbines will affect our villages and countryside will be on display. Please put this date in your diaries and come and support us.

2. A NEW DETERMINATION DATE to decide the planning application for Molesworth Wind Farm has been proposed by Huntingdon District Council and RWE npower. The Development Management Panel will meet on MONDAY 21st JANUARY 2013 at 7.00pm in the Civic Suite at Pathfinder House in Huntingdon. PLEASE PUT THIS DATE IN YOUR DIARIES but do note it could be postponed.

3. IF YOU STILL HAVENíT WRITTEN A LETTER OF OBJECTION, PLEASE CAN YOU DO SO? We need as many households to write as possible, please ask your friends and neighbours to write. For the determination at HDC in January we are hoping to provide information showing the opposition in the surrounding LOCAL villages, if you have not written we canít fully demonstrate local opposition. If you havenít written it is assumed you donít object. HDC ARE STILL ACCEPTING LETTERS UNTIL AT LEAST MID DECEMBER.

RWE npower has submitted OVER 150 LETTERS to HDC of support as a result of asking members of the public at Huntingdon High Street (over 20 kilometres from the wind farm site) to fill in forms and letters of support. The District Council need to know local people do not want this wind farm, so if members of your household havenít written or your neighbours (who may not be on our supporters list and therefore not receive this email), please ask them to do so. All the addresses are on our website www.stopmolesworthwindfarm.org.uk under the Contact heading.

4. Unfortunately James Delingpole is now unable to speak on Saturday 03 November at The Hargrave Village Hall so the meeting has been cancelled.

However on Thursday 1st November at 7.45 pm at the Victoria Hall, West Street, Oundle there will be a screening of Windfall the documentary movie concerning the impact of siting wind turbines close to a small rural town in America. Cost £5.00 tickets available on the door. For more details see web link below.

This will be followed by a discussion between Mark Newton - Head of Renewables at Fisher German Chartered Surveyors and James Delingpole, journalist, wind power sceptic and parliamentary candidate for Corby.
